#1   71% OF TBJ READERS PREFER PARK, OPEN SPACE ON DIX CAMPUS

Last week the Triangle Business Journal posted an online survey question, "What do you think the state should do with the Dorothea Dix campus?"  Out of 1,103 total responses, nearly 71 percent, or 782 participants, said the state should preserve the entire property as park land and open space.

#2 MORE YARD SIGNS ON THE WAY!

Due to high demand, 5,000 more yard signs have been ordered and are on their way to Raleigh !  We have over 400 folks who are waiting patiently for their yard sign to arrive.  We are thrilled for the response and look forward to getting the signs out in the yards as fast as possible when they arrive.  Please visitwww.dix306.org to register to receive a yard sign.

#4 NEW VOLUNTEERS LINING UP

Every week we continue to welcome new FDDP members. This week we've heard from a great number of people who have asked to volunteer for our campaign.  We are thankful for their interest and right now members of Dix306 (www.Dix306.org;  email: info@Dix306.org) are working on a task list for volunteers so that we can mobilize their support as quickly as possible.  We have plenty to do and appreciate all the help of our members and volunteers!

As always, we ask you to pass this newsletter along to your friends all across the state.  Thank you!
