#1
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
"Thanks
to you, we have been very successful in getting the Raleigh City
Council, The Wake Mayor's Association, and the General Assembly to
hear our voices and many are saying that a 306 Acre world-class
destination park at Dix is the right thing to do. Good for
them and good for us. However, no official action has occurred
yet. Action is louder than words and we need action. We
can have our park with the stroke of a pen, but we can also loose it
just as easily. We need to keep the pressure on and keep
raising our voices to secure our Park. It is our state land
and can be our Park. It belongs to us, but we don't decide
whether it is grass or concrete. They do. Be heard
and keep putting those signs up and getting your friends and
neighbors to do so also. Please sign the petition to create
our DIX PARK."
