#1 DIX PARK ADVOCATES ON THE CBS EARLY SHOW

The Dix Park advocates had a powerful showing on Fayetteville St. during the live broadcasting of the CBS Early Show this morning!  People from across the state showed their support for Dix Park by waving signs, wearing T-shirts and/or wearing Dix306 stickers.

Thank you to everyone who woke up early and made it downtown this hot summer morning.  This willingness to stand up for the creation of a 306-acre destination park is critical to our success. Thank you!

Check out the DIX 306 signs in these clips of the CBS Early Show!

#2 GENERAL ASSEMBLY UPDATE

The legislature is expected to release a bill next week.  The content of the bill is unknown, but it is our hope that it will include provisions for protecting all 306 acres of the Dix Campus.

This bill could be instrumental in helping us move forward in our goal of creating a 306-acre destination park.  Please continue working hard this summer to make this destination park a reality!
