#1 FUNDRAISING EFFORTS CONTINUE

As we continue our efforts to create a world-class destination park, the need for monetary support to fuel the efforts is ongoing.  Our fundraiser to Save the Park was a success, and we ask that if you have pledged a donation to please send in your check.  Now is not the time to lose momentum for our cause!  We are getting closer and closer each day.

If you were not able to attend our fundraiser in June, please consider sending in a donation to support the creation of a world-class, 306-acre destination park on the Dix Campus.  Your contribution is appreciated!

Contributions can be sent to:

#2 FDDP BOARD MEETING HELD – PLANNING NEXT STEPS

The FDDP Board Meeting was held last Wednesday to plan for the upcoming months as we continue to campaign for a ‘Central Park’ for North Carolina.  Strategy planning is underway and we will keep you posted about the next steps in how you can contribute to saving all 306 acres of the Dix Campus for a destination park.

As always, board meetings are the second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m.  Board meetings are open to anyone and we encourage you to come and help us shape the future of this world-class destination park!
