Event Details

Join the City of Raleigh, for the 5th annual Raleigh Earth Day. This milestone event brings together community members, local organizations, and city departments for an evening dedicated to environmental stewardship, sustainability, and connection—all in one of Raleigh’s most beautiful public spaces. 

Bring the whole family to explore earth-conscious vendors, enjoy live performances and hands-on activities, celebrate local environmental leaders, and end the night with a family-friendly outdoor movie under the stars. The event emphasizes low-waste practices and practical ways to care for our planet every day.

  • Food and non-alcoholic drinks permitted
  • The event area is grass covered and has uneven surfaces. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.

  • While well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed, we recommend leaving them at home for this event.

Restrooms and water fountains are available in the House of Many Porches Market.

Dix Park continues to strive to be accessible and welcoming for visitors, including those with disabilities. Currently, portions of Dix Park, including some areas where programs and events occur, have uneven surfaces and are not fully accessible. Accessibility is a primary focus for all park improvements and development.

Program Site: This program takes place in the grass on Harvey Hill. Walking from parking areas to the program site is necessary.

Parking: ADA parking spaces are available in all lots.

Restrooms: Accessible restrooms are available at the House of Many Porches Market and at the public restroom facility in Gipson Play Plaza.
