Traffic Garden

Dix Park teamed up with Oaks and Spokes to bring a Traffic Garden to life at the Gipson Play Plaza — a mini, kid-sized street network designed for fun and learning. 

The Traffic Garden is open for self-guided play, giving families the chance to practice safe walking, biking, and rolling skills in a low-stress, imaginative environment. Kids can explore a colorful world of small streets, intersections, stop signs, and bike lanes, all built just for them! 

Bring your bike, scooter, or walking shoes and enjoy this unique, pop-up play space. Free and open to the public every day. Perfect for kids ages 3–10 (and kids at heart)!
